Another Go Round (aka Jinu Lives)

YOLO? Jinu does not know the meaning. While he may have perished in the final fight with Gwi-ma he got better. Maybe this is because Rumi is too stubborn to let her It's Complicated demon bestie/boyfriend remain trapped in her sword or the underworld. Or maybe he came to his senses three seconds earlier in the battle and joined the fight before Gwi-ma was able to unleash his full wrath and he did not have to sacrifice himself at all. Whatever the reason Jinu is hanging around, in the flesh. The possibilities are endless.

Part of the Harmony (Honmoon Spirit)

When Jinu's sacrifice became the power boost and catalyst needed to kick off the creation of a new Honmoon his soul became an eternal part of the barrier. He resides there still, freed from his connection to Gwi-ma but unable to move on to the afterlife. It is a somewhat lonely existence at times. At least in the demon underworld there were other demons to talk to. But... it is not all bad. He helps to weave the protective barrier, directing the energy gathered with each annual renewal to shore up any weakened points. And sometimes, when the harmonies are just right he even gets to interact with those who can see the Honmoon. He only wishes that those occurrences were a little easier to predict so that mutual jumpscares could be avoided. Having a startled Hunter wave a bladed weapon in his face is no more fun now as it was when he was a demon. (Okay, maybe it was a little fun.)
